Why We Use Siberian Ginseng Root
Eleutherococcus senticosus
Siberian Ginseng is an adaptogenic herb that can modulate how the body responds to stress by acting as a hormonal tonic to the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, also known as our central stress response system. It helps regulate the immune response and support adrenal balance when the body is challenged by stress, thus maintaining homeostasis. Siberian Ginseng contains glycosides, often referred to as eleutherosides, which can enhance physical and mental stamina.

A Brief History
Native to Northeastern Asia, this small, woody shrub belonging to the Araliaceae family grows in coniferous mountain forests. Siberian Ginseng, also known as Eleuthero or Devil's Bush, amongst other names, has a long history of use in Chinese Medicine. Though as the name may suggest, it is not a true Ginseng, as it does not contain the constitutent ginsenosides, and is non-heating.
