7 Ways We're Staying Sane

You don’t need us to tell you that stress levels are spiking this fall. From skies full of smoke to the political wildfires of election season, 2020 is getting even more anxious for most of us. The Windward team has been feeling it too, but we’re determined to stay sane and healthy so we can support our families and communities in the best ways we can.

STAYING ACTIVE

Starting the day with a stretch, surf or run helps clear the mind for the hours ahead. Joey, one of our founders, relies on some Pacific Ocean time or a half-hour of yoga early in the morning.

EATING WELL

Whatever the day brings, you’ll need dependable energy to tackle it. We strive for a mostly plant-based diet—our co-founder Jenny has been taking time on Sundays to prep veggies so they’re ready to go through the week, making it easy to add some roasted sweet potatoes to a salad or snack on celery sticks with nut butter and raisins.

MIND BODY BALANCE
